Making music under the aliases Elias and Esther, this intercontinental sibling duo draws inspiration from their shared childhood and love for artistic experimentation.

The duo is heavily influenced by what their parents listened to when they were children (Kate Bush, Mike Oldfield, Enigma, Anssi Tikanmäki, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Dire Straits, to name a few), as well as their personal ventures into the realm of metal (Metallica, Type O Negative), rock (Faith No More, RHCP), alternative rock (Mew), and house music (Black Coffee, Osunlade, Monique Bingham, Tekniq).

Located in Southern Finland (Elias) and New York City (Esther), the duo has mastered the art of virtual collaboration . Their diverse musical background and investment in the underground dance scene in NYC can be heard in the effervescent electronic cocktail that constitutes the “Elias & Esther” sound.
