Capricious Dance Company of Narnia

Tuula Cox ´s dance project CDCN was established when she was still studying in the Iwanson School of Contemporary Dance in Germany. Since its beginning, CDCN has featured dancers of varying backgrounds, most prominently from modern dance, ballet, and house dance. The themes of the pieces often focus on stories as an igniter of our imagination. Through stories, we may explore life beneath the surface, and reveal a little bit of its enigma.

CDCN frequently collaborates with The House Dance Project.

Narnia Presents

In May 2024, CDCN organized a perfomance evening titled: Narnia Presents: Life As An Adventure. Our multidisciplinary piece Through The Archenland was first presented as a part the event. We also invited dance artists from varying stylistic backgrounds to complete the program of wonder and diverse movement stories.

Currently, we are preparing our second iteration of The Narnia Presents Series called Narnia Presents: Phototropia, which will be a part of multidisciplinary event Phototropia.
